so you haven't wrong experience with cocatiel? I wish to have one (and I know what mean to have a bird -a parrot- cause my sister have 3 budgies and one green cheek conure) but I only eard that it was noisy (not at sonor level but frequency) and they only had behaviour problems, that it is not a good bird...

All cockatiels, all birds are different, just like people. Mine are all pretty well behaved. Cockatiels are quite nosiy, but that's how they communicate. A silent bird tends to be an ill bird. They're not unbearable, much quieter than the rosella I had, and the bernard's parakeet I have now. Try starting with a young bird, or hand reared/tamed.

my sister want to have baby budgies... whose she'll tame at the nest.
do you think that if I'm ok with the budgie it sill be OK too for a cokatiel?

it seems budgies sings all day but have'nt a strong voice whereas cpkatiels hav powerful voice but screams less...
I know that cokatiles whistles too! it would be great that these birds whistle more than screaming!
